V2C11-Exam Preparations(2) part-1
“What happened?” I asked her bluntly.
However, Angelica, who was clutching my clothes, didn’t say a word. She just raised her head and stared at me, and for some reason, she looked a little dissatisfied.
It was the feeling I had when I first met her….
“By the way, if you have any difficulty while reviewing, you can look for me at any time. I have some confidence in my studies.” Princess Alyssa’s voice made me turn back.
“I’m embarrassed to have put you through so much trouble…” I thought she just said it for a formality and responded politely.
She said seriously, “No, it’s fine. How about this? If you don’t mind, how about going to the library tomorrow to review the lessons?”
“Ah? Really?” I was a little surprised.
“Of course, I’m serious.” Princess Alyssa nodded.
To be honest, with the daunting task of “being in the top 20 in just ten days”, I really needed this kind of help.
After a little thought, I made the decision, “Okay, then I accept the invitation.”
“Okay, let’s meet tomorrow morning directly in the reading hall of the library.” Princess Alyssa smiled gracefully and then peered over my shoulder, “classmate Angelica, would you like to join too?”
I also looked back, “yes, you can come with us.”
Angelica blinked a few times as if surprised by the invitation.
But she quickly responded- shaking her head resolutely.
“Why not? This is a great opportunity to catch up.” I didn’t understand that reaction.
Didn’t you just now look like a catastrophe was imminent?
However, she just shook her head stubbornly and refused to say a word.
“This…” I turned back and looked at Princess Alyssa with some embarrassment.
“She doesn’t want to… right?” Princess Alyssa lowered her eyes sadly. Even if she couldn’t see Angelica who had been hiding behind me, she could guess how the other party responded through my expression.
However, she quickly recovered her smile, “if you change your mind, please feel free to join.” then she looked at me, “then I’m taking my leave here. See you tomorrow, classmate Brock.”
“Okay, see you tomorrow.” I nodded.
Princess Alyssa bowed and left in the direction of the academy building.
After watching her walk away, I turned and said to Angelica who was still standing there, “Hey, why did you refuse? It’s not easy to have someone to guide you. Aren’t you in a desperate situation now?” I turned my head and looked in the direction Alyssa had left, made sure that from this distance words would not be heard, and continued to ask her, “could it be that, you…. You hate princess Alyssa?”
“No,… I don’t hate her” Angelica shook her head.
“Then why?”
“That person is very beautiful, is good-natured. When I see her, I get nervous…I don’t know… how to get along with her…” she hung her head down and whispered, “staying with brock…. Is more comfortable.”
“Why does it sound weird when I relate the second half of the sentence with the first?” I felt a little awkward.
“And…” she muttered again as if she was speaking to herself.
“And what?”
“Nothing…” she looked away, “I’m hungry. I am going to hunt.”
“Hey, time is running out for review. Let’s just go to the canteen for dinner. Also, how about you take some of this?” I took out the jar of coffee from the paper bag.
However, Angelica shook her head and refused: “there’s no need. I only require four hours of sleep, and at night…I am more active than during the day…”
This is probably also the trait of werewolves.
“Doesn’t this mean you have more time for the review?” I suddenly felt a little envious.
“At night I am highly excited, so I can’t read books…”
“It’s no use at all.”
“I didn’t go out yesterday to exercise.” she walked out of the door with a deadpan expression, “today…want to vent, suddenly want to make something bleed.. ”
Huh? Why does it seem like she is in a bad mood?
“Oh, then go…” I could only respond like this.
As I watched her walk towards the forest, I couldn’t help but feel a little worried.
This girl, will she be fine during the exam?
