In the contract signed with Rolanna, it was written that she would try her best to help me prepare for the exam. Although I still didn’t quite understand the significance of her giving me such a condition and set up the contract for me to sign, in this situation I could only rely on her.

So I visited her office again.

However, this time when I turned the last corner along the corridor, I unexpectedly found a familiar figure leaning against the door and waiting.

It was Miriya.

Suddenly my whole body felt bad.

“Huh?” she also noticed me. Suddenly, like a predator seeing prey, she changed her posture and looked like she was about to rush over.

How the f*ck I met her in this place?

I subconsciously took a step back and was prepared to turn around and leave.

“Please don’t joke! You want that dirty orc to go there… Are you planning to commit treason!?”

A sudden roar came from the door made both of us pause our actions.

Miriya suddenly seemed to realize something, then with a reluctant face dropped her hand from the hilt of the sword and with folded arms stood against the walls again.

Are there any other visitors in the office? What was that roar just now?

I’m pretty sure my ears heard the word ‘Orc’ in that sentence- which was me.

Even though I was wary of Miriya, I was still concerned about what was going on in the office.

I hesitated for a while, but in the end, I didn’t leave.

Seeing Miriya’s posture, it seems she was asked to guard here. So, for the time being, she would not mess around.

While keeping an eye on her, I cautiously approached and stood against the wall near the door, from where I was able to roughly hear the conversation in the office.

“… it’s strange because it was me who swore my life on the contract in front of Her Majesty, not Olivia. Why instead does she doubt my loyalty? I’ve put my life on the line. What else do you guys want from me?” it was Rolanna’s voice.

“But the proposal you are submitting now threatens Her Majesty’s safety!” The other party’s voice was still full of anger.

“It is not Her Majesty’s safety that is threatened, but your intentions, right? I have attached a reasonable basis for the proposal. It’s Her Majesty who will make decisions. If it is really like you said, then the majesty will naturally reject it. It is that the proposal might get approved so Olivia couldn’t sit still.” Rolanna’s voice was still calm, “Honestly, I wanted to send you back when I heard that you were her messenger. She and the people under her are like a bunch of Rams, irrational and unable to listen to other’s words.”

“That’s because you’ve been sticking to that ridiculous policy of kowtowing to the Orcs! Do you know how many fathers and husbands this country has lost in the hands of orcs during that war?”

“So you guys are going to make a few more die for nothing? Just for a few more merits on Olivia’s chest?”

“General Olivia is thinking about the safety of this country! If you continue to do things your own way, we will not sit back and watch!” The other party’s voice was imposing, but the content of the word gave people a hollow feeling. As if shouting slogans according to the script.

It sounded like a visitor is a speaker of a certain person and has lower experience.

“Spare me these old rhetorics. First, my father died in the war at that time, and I went to the battlefield by myself. I know better what war is, more than you. Second, you didn’t even know how to talk when I met Olivia, I know her better than you, and last….”

At this point, Roalnna’s voice suddenly sank, “you guys have never seemed to sit back and just watched, right?”

“What, what are you talking about?” the other party was visibly shaken.
