“This is the most basic induction rune, which is used to test the level of magic power.”From the side of the cardigan robe which was draped over her academy uniform, Felina took out a card printed with strange runes made of unknown material.
I squinted my eyes and looked to the inside of the cardigan robe.
“What are you looking at? Pervert!” Felina immediately noticed my line of sight, like facing a great enemy, she grasped the two sides of the robes and tightened with her hands.
“Brock, you…” Angelica looked at me with a complicated expression.
“Don’t get me wrong. I’m just curious about how many things are hidden in your robe.” I said what was on my mind.
“It’s not unusual for a mage to carry a few magic items with them. Really ignorant…” Felina gave me a blank look and then handed the card in her hand to Angelica, “you come first. Press the written side of the word on your forehead, then close your eyes and concentrate on recalling the rune pattern on it.”
Angelica did as she was told.
Then I saw the runes on the card flashing.
It seems that this reaction is used to test the so-called magic power level.
“No way, you little girl unexpectedly has a medium-upper level of magic power?” Felina looked very surprised, she reached out her hand and took the card back to check carefully, “is it possible there is some mistake in the rune?”
“Woo…” Angelica bared her teeth like an angry puppy.
“Forget it, now it’s your turn.” Felina turned to me and handed me the card.
I took it and did the same as Angelica had done before.
Then I opened my eyes and found that both of them were looking at me strangely.
“What, what happened?” it felt uncomfortable to being stared at like that
“Is there really something wrong with it?…” Felina blinked and said, then took out another card with the same pattern, “Change this and do it again!”
With a confused look, I took it again and repeated the same actions.
When I opened my eyes, I found that they looked even more strangely at me.

Huh? Is my magic power level very high?
“… one in a million the magic idiot? ” Felina finished her sentence and shook her head, “I can’t detect any magic power!”
“What?” The unexpected answer made me stunned.
“When Brock put the card…. On his forehead, nothing happened….” Angelica said.
“It is really weird. Magic comes from the spirit, that is, the soul. Supposedly it is detectable even in a child who has just learned to read. I Want to ask, are you carrying stones in your head?” Felina’s face was full of ridicule, “it seems that you will not have any problem in preparing for this exam— because you can just directly give up.”
