“Anyway, tell her that my patience is limited. She knows about the exchange student, doesn’t she? Tell her that if she doesn’t want to be accused of trying to murder an allied dignitary, then she should just sit quietly, and don’t let me see another rat coming from her. Do you understand?”
The other party was silent.
“Okay, everything that should be said is finished, please go back,” Rolanna said.
“You should think carefully more about this issue. I’m leaving.”
Sounds of footsteps came and the door was suddenly opened.
The female elf, with a sword on her waist, strode across the threshold with a look of anger on her face. From the uniform and weapons she was wearing, she seemed to be an officer.
Then she noticed me standing near the door, less than two steps away from her.
For a moment, her eyes widened.
“Or, Orc?!” in the confusion she reached out and grabbed the hilt of the sword at her waist.
This murderous action made me tense and subconsciously made me almost punch her in the face.
However, the sword was only dawn only an inch out before it stopped.
The female elf as if petrified remained motionless, then after a moment she turned her eyes and looked at the sword on her neck.
Behind her, Miriya with a cold expression clutched the hilt of the sword. When the female elf officer screamed and grabbed for the sword hilt, Miriya had already pulled out the sword and quickly put it on her neck.
“Knight Miriya, you… what are you doing?” she didn’t dare to twist her neck, but turning her eyes tried to glance back, and asked in a slightly trembling voice.
“Retract your weapon, now, at once.” Miriya’s tone was flat.
After considering things, she carefully retracted the sword.
The series of changes suddenly left me stunned, unable to say any word.
Miriya, she…is protecting me? why?
I couldn’t get my head around.
“You dare to move on my prey….” Miriya murmured as she took the sword back.
… my head got around that, but I suddenly felt it’s better to not understand!
The female elf officer stared in my direction, seeming to be on guard against me, whether I would make any movement while she was forced to retract the sword.
I realized that this impulsive elf seems to hate orcs even more than the average elf, and maybe more than past Felina. Conflicting with this kind of person will only burn me, when I thought of this, I consciously took a step back.
After staring at me for a while, she turned around, raised her voice, and asked Miriya: “Knight Miriya…. You need to explain the behavior you did just now!”
“Explain?” Miriya looked puzzled, “you drew the sword first, and I intervened to stop you, it’s normal, isn’t it?”
“Stop? You just put a sword on my neck! That’s clearly an attack!”
“However, you intended to attack him first,” Miriya said calmly.
The elf officer looked at her in shock: “ you mean to say, for an orc…. You attacked your own people?”
“I have been entrusted by Rolanna with the protection work of the academy, naturally I must do it properly.”
“What does the protection work of the academy have to do with this orc?” The female officer was angry.
“For the time being, he is a student of this academy,” Miriya responded lightly.
“Student? Are you kidding me?” the female office sneered angrily, “ you are saying this kind of *** filthy, brute creature is a student here? This…this kind…”
I’ve already heard these kinds of words for such a long time that my ears almost callused, so I wasn’t going to be provoked because of this level of incitement.
