V2C2-Let's Go Hunting together(2) part-2
I went out of the house in a daze and stood beside Rolanna.
“What the hell…. What’s going on?” I turned my head towards Rolanna and asked, “What are you guys planning to do?”
“Didn’t I just say it? Hunting. Didn’t a fierce beast come out of the forest on the day of the full moon festival? Did you forget? You also fought with it!” Rolanna shrugged at me, “For the safety of all the teachers and students of the academy, I organized a few faculty members and senior students in order to hunt that beast.”
“What?” I blinked a few times, leaned close to Rolanna, and asked in a low voice, “what’s the matter? What’s your intention? There are no fierce beasts, right?”
The so-called beast in that incident was the werewolf angelica. Rolanna and some of the faculty members here should be aware of it.
“I don’t want to do this kind of useless work, but since the incident ended with such a conclusion. I have to take some measures to show it to the people outside, otherwise, someone will jump out and accuse me of being negligent of my duty.” Rolanna’s lips moved and replied softly.
So that’s the case. Basically, it is to organize a search around the scene, and conclude that the imaginary beast has gone to some other place.
However, there was still a problem.
“There’s no need to call me, right?” I muttered and glanced at the female elves who cast a disgusted look at me from a distance.
I really don’t want to work with them. I always feel that no matter how much I try to avoid it, there will be an accident. The lessons I experience in the past are bloody(tragedy) lessons.
“You are an important person in that incident. You fought with the beast at the time of the incident. It doesn’t make sense to not take you to identify it?” Rolanna replied, “Moreover, I remembered that you have set up hunting traps in certain parts of this forest right? Those areas need your participation to search.”
“If you had told me in advance about the trap, I would have taken it down! And wouldn’t it be enough if you just say that I’m still recovering?”
Rolanna’s smile became more meaningful: “ Actually, I did say it, but Miriya insisted at the mobilization meeting that you should be included in the hunting team to monitor you.”
What!?
I turned my head suddenly and looked at Miriya, who was standing aside.
She was staring at me as if watching a prey, the tip of her tongue stretched out imperceptibly and gently locked her cherry lips.
I suddenly felt all the hairs on my body stand up.
This woman’s hunting target was me!
I turned my head back, looked at Rolanna in disbelief, and screamed from my throat: “Reject her!”
You can see that she’s up to something.
“I’d love to, but I really couldn’t find a suitable reason.” Rolanna put out a ‘deeply regretful’ smile and spread out her hand, “I’m very sorry, student Brock.”
“Bullshit! You clearly just want to see the show!” I glared at Rolanna.
However, she just smiled and turned towards the teachers and students group who had gathered not far away.
“All right, everyone.” she clapped her hands and announced loudly, “now that everyone is here, let’s start forming teams according to the plan.”
“Forming teams?” I was a little surprised.
“Oh right, I haven’t told you yet.” Rollanna just remembered, “in order to organize the hunt more efficiently, we plan to search different areas of this forest in pairs.”
Indeed, the most efficient way to search such a large area was to work in groups, but just two people to form a team…
I suddenly realized something.
Then, trembling, I turned my head and looked to my side.
Just now, Miriya, with a natural face, moved to my side and stood.
“Miriya, you?” Rolanna also noticed her movement.
“He and I will be a team.” Miriya raising her hand pointed at me and replied calmly.
Sure enough, she had this plan!!!
