Chapter-58

When I returned to the academy, it was evening, and the campus was quiet.

I just left for a few days, but I don’t know why it felt I had been away for a long time.

Rolanna led me to the infirmary and opened the door with the key.

Because it was long past the academy working time, the doctor in the infirmary has already left the work.

I went straight to the cabinet where the medicine was placed and looked for a suitable potion to clean the wound and a bandage to dress it. However, after I opened the cabinet, I found that the labels on the medicine bottles in the cabinet were all written in elvish.

I picked up a bottle, ready to open and smell to check if it was the disinfectant medicine.

“I advise you not to touch these medicines indiscriminately.” Rolanna stopped me in time, “you can’t read these professional elvish words.”

“What is this bottle?” I picked up the bottle and shook it in front of her.

“This…” she looked at the table with a malicious smile on her face, “it’s made from Mandela grass…”

“Huh?” my eyes widened.

After a pause, she continued: “leaves, the cough medicine. Didn’t you make it in the class?”

”.. Would you die if you don’t pause in strange places?”

I was correct, how could there be such a shameless people in the infirmary of the academy—-

“If you are looking for Mandela grass-root**, the bottle is there on the left side of the bottom row,” she said with a smile.

“There really is!” I shouted subconsciously.

You shameless elves, why did you put that kind of stuff in the infirmary?

“For wound treatment, I recommend you to try this bottle of medicine.” She also came towards the medicine cabinet, took out a bottle of medicine, and handed it to me.

“What is this?”

“It is a growth medicine that could quickly promote the healing of body tissues. It is especially effective for external injuries. For skin injuries, like yours can be immediately recovered after drinking it.”

“There is such a good thing?” I was surprised,“ you’re not lying to me, are you?”

“Of course, it’s true. Why would I deceive you? This is a potion that I personally developed, the Chief mage of Saidian. I have done a considerable number of animal experiments, just not valid for dead.” she puffed her chest with pride.

“Does it taste strange?” I still have doubts.

There was no guarantee that the thing Rolanna offered me was correct.

“No, it’s as colorless and tasteless as water. I can swear,”

Since she has guaranteed, it should not be a problem… right?

“Then, I’ll give it a try and drink it.”

“Well, have to finish the bottle.” Rolanna nodded.

I opened the cap of the bottle and poured the liquid into my mouth. Indeed, as she said, it had no taste just like water.

However, just as I was about to swallow it….

“By the way, the side effect is that there’s a 50% probability that you will grow an extra body part, such as an extra hand, or ear or eye.”

“Poof!” I spit out all the medicine.

“Gee, what a waste.” Rolanna shook her head regretfully.

“Say this kind of thing earlier!” I yelled at her.

“Don’t worry. Even if it grows, it will automatically disappear after half a year.”

“That’s enough time for a broken bone to heal! How dare you put this kind of thing in the infirmary of students?” I looked at her in disbelief.

“It won’t be used by other students. I’m just using this medicine cabinet to keep my own researched magic potions. To use these kinds of things…” she paused for a moment, then turned her head away shyly, touching her lips with knuckles of the right hand, continued in a low voice: “these kinds of things…I’m only going to do this to Brock, you’re the only one…special…”

“It’s obvious that you are treating me as a lab mouse. Don’t make it look like you are saying something touching!”

Rolanna giggled as if satisfied with my reaction.

I sat down in a chair and sighed: “please, give me normal disinfectant.”

It was really tiring to be around this woman who likes to tease people.

Although it was not annoying.

Rolanna smiled, then gave me a bottle of medicine, bandages, and gauze.

I took it one by one, raised the bottle, and carefully looked at the content of the bottle.

“Well, it’s a distilled spirit. If you don’t believe me, just smell it.”, Rolanna laughed, “don’t drink it secretly.”

I removed the cork with my mouth and put my nose close to sniff.

It was a distilled spirit, it could be used to disinfect wounds.

Just as I was about to pour the potion on the gauze, Rolanna came towards me, “do you need help?”

“Oh, no need. I’ll do it myself. I‘m quite proficient in this kind of thing.”

Dressing wounds was quite a basic lesson for warriors.

Moreover, if I want to bandage my wound, I must take off my coat, and I hope that she avoids it.

……….. If someone breaks in and sees it, it is bound to create a misunderstanding.

“At least let the other person help you with the wound on the back of your right shoulder. It should be inconvenient with your left hand, right?” she persuaded.

“Well….” I looked at my bruised left hand and hesitated a little.

The right shoulder was severely bitten by the werewolf Angelica. The wound at this position was difficult to clean and bandage with my right hand. My left hand, when I was subduing the werewolf, I had voluntarily put it into the werewolf’s mouth as bait. Although a cloth was wrapped around it and was not directly bitten by teeth, it still left a considerable degree of damage, and now I cannot grasp things properly.

“Then,… I’m going to trouble you.” After thinking about it, I felt that there was indeed no need to care about unnecessary self-esteem and shame, so I picked up the bandages and handed them out to Rolanna.

However, Rolanna just smiled and did not take it immediately.

“Huh?” I couldn’t help feeling puzzled.

“I didn’t say I was going to help you. I just made a suggestion.” she tilted her head, “Why? Are you disappointed that the beautiful girl is not doing to dress up your wounds?”

So she was teasing me again.

“You..” I couldn’t help sighing and prepared to withdraw my hands.

Then, she suddenly reached out and snatched it from my hands, “to tell you the truth I’d like to dress your wounds, but…” saying this, she moved her eyes to my back, “I’m not the only one who wants to thank you here.”

I was stunned and unconsciously wanted to look back.

“Please, please, don’t look back! ” but, the voice of the girl behind me stopped my movements.

The trembling voice showed her nervousness, it was a voice that I never heard before.

The other party didn’t know when quietly walked out from behind the curtain of the infirmary bed and stood behind me, and I who was supposed to be sensitive to the footsteps, didn’t notice her—– just like last time.

It is probably a skill of werewolves to be able to lighten their footsteps to a level like a beast.

Speaking of which, this is the first time I’ve heard her speak…

“Then, rest is up to you.” Rolanna smiled and threw the things in her hand to the girl behind me, “Student Angelica.”

After saying, she turned, closed the door, and left the infirmary.
