“That kind of relationship….”

“It’s not rare, but the gameplay is too bold…”

“It’s a bit excessive to target minors….”

A wave of whispers came from the audience.

Felina obviously heard these criticisms, she turned towards the audience with a blushing face: “no, it is not like that! It was just, just a prank…”

“A prank?” the presiding judge frowned, “Are you saying that the other person did not volunteer? Let me remind you, witness, the conviction for personal insult has nothing to do with what you think!

“No, this, this…” Felina turned towards the bench trial again with complete panic.

“Presiding judge, we seem to be a little digressing” suddenly Rolanna raised her hand and said, “this time’s trial is for the orc, it is not necessary to find out right now whether witness Felina Orslan–my sister–, is interested in the same sex, right?”

“This needs to be clarified, okay!” Felina slammed the witness stand box angrily, she still did not realize that clarifying this matter would increase the risk of her action being identified as a crime.

However, unlike her reaction, the presiding judge nodded thoughtfully, “well indeed. We have to put the orc’s case first.”

“And, I also have a question that I want to ask the chief crime scene investigator,” Rolanna asked seriously.

The presiding judge thought for a moment, and nodded: “permitted to ask questions.”

“If the orc really fought the beast to protect the victim and the witness, then the clothes he was wearing at that time and his body should have claw marks left. On the other hand, if what the prosecution says is true, then he should be unscathed. May I ask the Chief crime scene investigator what was the situation during your investigation?” Rolanna looked at the Chief crime scene investigator who was standing beside the bench trial.

All eyes then were focused on the Chief crime scene investigator.

The Chief crime scene investigator froze in the same place, and it took a while before she spoke in trepidation: “at that time, at that time… the principal defendant was not examined carefully, so…”

“Not examined carefully? Oh, that’s strange. I remember that according to the regulation, the condition of the suspect should also be carefully investigated when he was arrested! What about the clothes he was wearing at that time?” Rolanna narrowed her eyes, she seized the point and pressed hard.

“This, this…” the Chief crime scene investigator hesitated and was unable to give an answer.

“As it could be seen, there were significant loopholes in the crime-site inspection. If there are problems in the crime-site investigation, then I think it is right to doubt the reliability of the so-called evidence collected by the prosecutor from various sources….” Rolanna turned to Winsari, raised her voice, and said, “moreover, judging from the testimony provided by the witness just now, the prosecution has not even carefully questioned the key witness. It could be said this prosecution itself is ill-founded.”

This was undoubtedly a fatal blow, prosecutor Winsari’s face suddenly became ugly, and was unable to retort it.

“What’s going on? How do you know they didn’t investigate carefully?” leaning closer, I asked Rolanna. From the way she had been driving the opponent into the corner, it was clear that she had already expected it.

“All the investigators here are women.” Rolanna smiled and answered in a voice that only I could hear.

I understood it immediately.

As all the investigators were women, none of them would like to examine my body carefully after I had been subdued, and so the inspectors did not mention the new wounds I got when I fought with the werewolf.

The shirt I had taken off was probably burned without being touched — if they had searched the dress they would have found the animal hair and blood on it, which would have given some understanding of truth.

Also because of the prejudice, the prosecutor was so sure that my criminal evidence was solid, so they simply put me on trial without much preparation.

D*mn, no wonder when I woke up in the prison, I didn’t see any bandages on my body. it’s too much… Fortunately, the orcs are physically strong, if it were human or elves, they would have long fallen because of wound infection.

You shouldn’t be able to speak now.

I felt a sense of relief in my heart.

“Therefore, I suggest that the case should be decided whether the orc has new scars or not.” Rolanna proposed loudly to the bench trial.

The presiding judge seriously “discussed” with other judges for a while, and finally slammed the gavel; “well, the wound identification could be used as the key basis for the decision of this case, which would infer wound circumstance and time of the injury.”

“Then Brock….” Rolanna looked in my direction.

“Good!” seeing that the situation had completely turned to my side, I was cheered up and tore off my shirt with shackled hands, then raised my arms, “look”

Scars are the merits of the warriors. In the past, I have shown my scars to my other orc compatriots in the tribe’s tavern, and every time, I would get thunderous applause and praises.

However this time the reaction was quite different.

“Aaaaaaaa!” all the female elves in the court; the judges, prosecutors, audience, and even Felina, who was not seeing me shirtless for the first time, unconsciously let out a scream and covered their eyes.

There was only one exception.

“Idiot!” Rolanna shook her head at me and gave a bitter smile, “you have to show scars only to the investigator!”

“Oh, this…” in response, I looked around awkwardly at the trembling elves who were shrinking their heads, pulling the corners out the mouth. I forced out a smile, “sorry…”

Thus, despite some twists and turns, the trial ended with the verdict, “due to lack of evidence the defendant is released.”
