“Okay, so what I’m going to submit next is a crucial piece of evidence found at the scene of the crime.” Winsari picked up a small bottle and asked a female officer standing beside the trial bench, “Chief crime scene investigator, this was collected from the crime scene, right?”

The judges also looked at the crime scene investigator, and she nodded at them.

“Prosecutor Winsari, what’s in the bottle?” the presiding judge asked.

“After testing, it has been found that the liquid contained in it is a magic potion made from the extract of Mandela grass-root, which has the effect of arousal.”

As soon as this statement came out, there was an uproar in the audience, and the presiding judge and other judges showed an astonished expression.

“I would like to ask! If the principal defendant  did not have the intention of assaulting the victim..” saying in a loud voice Winsari raised the bottle, looked around the bench trial and audience seats, and then fixed her gaze on me with shining eyes, “then how did this bottle appear at the crime scene?”

That’s not mine! I subconsciously grasped the railing, but could only stare blankly at the thing she was holding.

That was Felina’s stuff, that fellow left the bottle at the scene! It got thrown away when I dodged the attack of the werewolf….

“This is, indeed, a strong piece of physical evidence.” the presiding judge, who had exchanged glances with the other judges nodded.

“In addition, we also found this thing in the principal defendant’s residence.” Winsari picked up a piece of paper and showed it to the bench trial.

“This is?” the presiding judge questioned.

“This is a magic contract, signed by the principal defendant Brock Bloodaxe and Central Academy student Felina Orslan. When we checked in, we found that the contract was already in effect. According to this contract, the principal defendant, the orc Brock has the right to order Felina Orslan to do anything.” prosecutor Winsari with a dignified expression pointed at the contract, “ and the condition for the contract to come into effect was to win a duel. The duel was a sword duel without using any attack magic. The Physical ability gap between the orcs and elves is well known. I would like to ask, how can an elven student win against the orc warrior with just swordsmanship? We have reasons to believe that the victim of this contract, Felina Orslan, was coerced into participating in the duel!”

The elves sitting in the audience seats exclaimed one after another, “Oh my God!”, “What a monster”, “despicable” and like these words continuously came.

“Silence!” the presiding judge knocked the gavel and silenced the audience, and then said, “Prosecutor Winsari! This evidence is indeed related to the principal defendant but has no direct relationship with this case, and as the first batch of evidence, it could be only used as a side reference for the principal defendant’s criminal intent.”

Reference my foot! There was no criminal intent! That duel was initiated by that blonde fool himself, okay! The context of the duel seems unfair because she tried to conspire, but her brain is not so bright!

Unable to explain, I held my head in pain.

“No, the presiding judge, this is a piece of evidence directly relevant to this case. Because the victim of this contract, Felina Orslan, was at the scene of the crime at that time!” saying this, prosecutor Winsari turned towards the audience, “everyone, imagine, the orc with such a contract forcibly brought two elf students into the forest who can’t resist… it was obvious what this dirty orc was going to do!” The more she talked the more she stirred up the emotions of the audience, “What an exciting plot– oh no, what a heinous act!”

There was another stir in the audience.

“Prosecutor Winsari, please don’t instigate the audience!” the presiding judge struck the gavel, “You just mentioned that someone witnessed the scene?”

“Yes, according to the testimonies of the teachers who arrested the principal defendant at the scene, they were able to arrive at the scene at the time after receiving the information from Felina Orslan. It is said that at that time, Miss Felina was in an extreme state of panic, and even the words were incoherent. However, there were two points she expressed to the faculty of the academy: ‘she was attacked’  and ‘ something big happened in the forest’. The faculty then organized a search in the forest, and was able to stop the main defendant from committing the crime at the scene.”

Idiot! Couldn’t that fellow explain clearly at that time?

Wrong, Felina would never help me, she instead tried to frame me.

“So, there is a witness?” the presiding judge inquired.

“Yes, the last crucial and powerful evidence I want to submit is witness’ testimony! I hope that the court will allow the witness, Felina Orslan to testify in court!”

“She is already waiting outside?”

“Yes.”

“Then ask her to come to the witness stand box.”

The side door of the hall was opened, Felina with a solemn face entered the court under the guidance of a legal officer and walked towards the witness stand box.

“Witness, Felina Orslan, a student of the magic department of Saidian central academy, is the mentioned identity true?”  Winsari started the verification process.

“Yes, I’m Felina Orslan” Felina looked ahead with a deadpan face and nodded slightly.

“There is a testimony that you were at the scene of the crime on the day of that incident. Is it true?“Winsari verified again.

“Yes, I was there and witnessed the incident with my own eyes.” Felina nodded.

“Now that the magic contract that had bound you has been lifted, no one can persuade or threaten you anymore. Are you willing to take the oath that the testimony that follows is all true?”

“Yes, I am willing to swear on God that everything I will say next is true and there is no falsehood in it.”

After confirmation, prosecutor Winsari turned to the bench trial, and the presiding judge nodded: “then, witness, you may give your testimony now.”

“Okay.” Felina faced towards the bench trial and bowed, then she slowly raised her head, “I testify that on the day of the accident, I and Angelica Wolffis were in the academy’s forest…” as she said this, she turned her gaze towards me “ …. And were attacked.”
